Donna's Homemade Pepper Jelly, Sweet & Sour



Method:
Remove seeds from Bell peppers, habanera peppers (keep seeds in those while you mix), blend in blender or whatever you have to blend with.
Mix sugar, vinegar, and salt in large pot, bring to a rolling boil and BE CAREFUL, it will boil over if you do not watch it.
Boil for about 7 minutes until it becomes clear,Add pepper mixture to liquid and cook about 9 minutes continually stirring.
Remove from fire and strain into another pot. Cool about 9 to 10 minutes.
(OPTIONAL - Add some of the solids back to liquid)
Then stir in the color of your choice and your liquid Certo. Make sure and stir this really well.
