Smokehouse Passion Pasta

Ingredients
Serves 5

1 c. Smoked Sausage
½ lb butter
1 ½ c. onion
½ c. bell pepper
½ c. celery
1-10 oz. can diced tomatoes w/green chilies
2 tsp basil
1 tsp oregano
1tsp Thyme
1 dash red pepper
¼ tsp white pepper
1 tsp salt
2 Tbsp sugar
1 c. white wine
2 Tbsp fresh chopped garlic
3 c. smoked chicken
1 ½ c. Artichoke hearts
3 c. Heavy whipping cream
1 lb. of your favorite pasta
1 c. Parmesan Cheese

Method:
Over high heat, brown sausage, then add butter, onions, peppers, celery and sauté until onions become transparent. Add tomatoes, all dry spices and cook until spices form a thin crust on the bottom of the pot, then deglaze with white wine. Add fresh garlic, chicken and artichokes with juices, bring to a simmer and then add whipping cream and return to simmer then add your favorite pasta and remove from heat then add cheese to finish.
