Bayou Boogie
Bayou Boogie hosted by Herman Fuselier is a weekly 30 minute program which airs on KDCG-TV emphasizing Louisiana music, especially Cajun , Zydeco, Blues and Swamp Pop. The show also features other forms of music and subjects related to the local entertainment industry, such as festivals, clubs, studios, producers, trail rides, radio, internet sites, etc.
Herman Fuselier is a writer and broadcaster living in Opelousas, La. Fuselier works as a feature writer for The Daily Advertiser in Lafayette.
His "Bayou Boogie" music column, which primarily focuses on the Cajun music, zydeco and swamp pop of southwest Louisiana, appears Fridays in the 24/7 entertainment section of The Advertiser. The column is also published monthly in Offbeat Magazine of New Orleans.
Fuselier's "Bayou Boogie" radio show airs at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 6 a.m. Sunday on KRVS 88.7 FM. It's also broadcasted on the Alabama Public Radio Network and on the Internet at www.louisianaradio.com.
Bayou Boogie airs at 7 pm Friday with a Special Encore at 1 p.m. Saturday on KDCG-TV.

This Live hour-and-a-half radio show is taped in Eunice at the Historic Liberty Theater. Featuring performances by local musicians and sometimes cajun humorists, presented in a Grand Ole Opry Louisiana Hayride Prairie Home Companion Format of a Live Radio and Television Broadcast & a Family Oriented Program. Hosted by Dr. Barry Ancelet.
This hour-and-a-half radio & TV show airs Sunday at 12 noon.
