Parental Vision is a series of thirty-minute educational programs designed to assist parents in helping their children succeed academically, increase parental involvement and enhance parent-teacher relationships.
Parental Vision airs on RTN/KDCG-TV 22. The fourth season is in full swing.

- Don't give out your name
- Don't reveal your age
- Don't reveal your gender
- Don't let any one know your parents aren't home
Points for Parents from Monica Ford's Presentation
- DO speak with your child about their internet habits and your safety concerns
- DO set a limit for how much time your child can spend online
- DO keep the computer in a common area of the home
- DO install safety software and monitoring software and keep it updated
- DO encourage your child to teach you what they know about the internet
- DO NOT allow your child to have an online profile
- DO NOT hesitate to get help if you think a predator may be targeting your child
- DO NOT overreact or threaten to take away the internet if your child tells you about something bad that they experienced online
